The SMEAZ Savings and Credit Cooperative Society Limited (SMEAZ SACCOS) offers loan products as well as guarantees to members of the SACCOS. We have personal and business loan products. The general rule for all loans is that they are up to a maximum of six times the amount you have in savings. Assessments will also be done of your creditworthiness as well as ability to repay.

Non-members are not eligible to receive loans directly from the SMEAZ SACCOS, but we work with various financial institutions to whom we can refer non-members participating in our savings products, in case of need. Your savings history as well as accumulated savings can be used by the financial institution to assess your eligibility for loans.

Non-members are eligible for emergency loans, and credit guarantess, though only up to the limit of their shares and savings balances, as well as any co-guarantees by other members or non-members.
