Mrs Chiedza Chigombe
Chairperson
Chiedza Chigombe is the Managing Director of Kubota Engineering, a company that specializes in the manufacturing of industrial and agricultural equipment, and the supply of vehicle suspension parts and gearboxes. She is a highly qualified and experienced professional with over 15 years of experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry.
Chiedza is a skilled entrepreneur, leader, and strategist with a proven track record of success in developing and implementing new business initiatives. She is also an effective communicator and team player with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
Chiedza holds an Executive Masters in Business Administration (EMBA), a Bachelor of Commerce Honors Degree in Business Management from Midlands State University and an A.B.M.A Business Management Diploma. She is the current President of the Engineering Iron and Steel Association Zimbabwe (EISAZ), a board member of the Strategic Leadership Association of Engineering Iron and Steel of Zimbabwe (SLAZEISI), an ICDZ Fellow Member and an IODZ Future Director.
Mr Arthur Chaora
Vice Chairperson
Arthur P. Z. Chaora is the founding partner and Managing Director of Allumez Capital. He has a career with 30 years of experience working in roles in the African financial services sector. Arthur has spent 27 of these years directly participating in financial investment activities, 10 years of which have been spent developing in the impact investment space.
His banking career has included stints in investment banking, financial trading in domestic and international money markets and his last formal employment posting was as Executive Director responsible for Wholesale Markets in a leading international financial institution.
Since 2008 he has concentrated on structuring and building financial capital intermediation and augmenting service solutions for early venture and sustainable development, with a keen focus on mid to lower market impact investment activity. During this period Arthur has also undertaken reciprocating professional participatory roles in the internal operations of Allumez’s closely collaborating global advisory partner organisations. These roles include consultancy functions in Nova Capital Global Markets and serving as Chief Financial Officer and board member of Globalstratos, Datos Group companies.
Arthur is actively involved in the activities of small and medium venture enterprise development associations. He is a board member and the current Chairman of the Services Group of the SME Association of Zimbabwe. He is an ordained minister in Oasis Christian Assembly and serves as a volunteer partner with the Kings Counsel and Trust Family Office.
Arthur holds a Master of Science in Finance degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.
Mr Tendai Kasipo
Treasurer
A hardworking and passionate qualified Chartered Accountant with five years experience in external audit (Deloitte) and over five years of industry experience. Established a solid accounting base earlier in his career which provided exposure to and an appreciation for different business structures, systems and controls. He had the opportunity to consolidate and grow this knowledge as the National Foods Limited Group Finance Manager, Operations Manager and as the Finance Manager of the Maize Milling Business Unit. He looks forward to growing further and continuing to add value as the Founder, Sole Shareholder and Head of Operations of Infoseed Grey Solutions PBC.
Mr Simangaliso Newman
Secretary
Simangaliso works as a Business and Governance Advisor under Dreams Corporate Advisors. He is a Certified Financial Education Instructor, and he is also certified as an Independent Training Facilitator under Old Mutual`s financial education program On The Money (The Big Five Secrets of Money Management).
Simangaliso is passionate about supporting indigenous entrepreneurs in starting and growing their businesses. Simangaliso, who started his career with a stock broking firm, worked for other companies before founding Dreams Corporate Advisors.
His academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws degree, and he is currently pursuing a Master`s degree in Leadership and Corporate Governance. Simangaliso is a member of the Institute of Directors Zimbabwe and the SMEs Association Zimbabwe amongst other membership organisations.
Mr Misheck Muchabaya
Committee Member (Youth Rep)
Misheck Muchabaya is a Quantity Surveyor who has previously worked for Platinum Contractors. He is a Founder and Director of Macmalan Design and Construction which he founded at the age of 25.
